Ride through winter wonderland

For an unforgettable husky sled tour in winter wonderland Norway, we can arrange for you to enjoy this action-packed experience. We arrange for transport to the fantastic Husky-Andøy and make sure you are prepared before embarking on your journey. Meet a pack of huskies, and try your hand as a musher or be a passenger as the happy huskies run through the Arctic nature.

This is a unique experience for a nature and/or animal lover. You can either be a passenger in the large dog sleds or be alone on a dogspark/kickspark (small sled) with two huskies. Either way, you will have an exciting trip and a memory for a lifetime!

Surrounded by snow-capped peaks, you ride along the coast or over the white plains behind the Husky farm. Feel the refreshing wind in your face and enjoy the incredible scenery along the way.

Meet the dogs

Before we start the tour you get to meet with the huskies. They love cuddling and meeting new people. The Alaskan huskies are great sled dogs, eager to take you into the wilderness. After an introduction to the sleds and the huskies, the tour begins.

Most of the huskies are born on the Husky-Andøy farm. The farm is small and family-run, with a high priority of great care and love for the dogs. They are fully vaccinated, and regularly dewormed and checked upon by a vet.

Important information

The dogsledding is a slightly physical affair, so make sure you are of good health, and travel insurance is important. Please inform us about any health restrictions or mobility problems - you need to come in and out of the sled/cart by yourself. Bring warm clothes, a hat, gloves and solid shoes. From end of January, we also recommend sunglasses.

If there isn’t enough snow, we change the sled with a dog cart or scooter. You are therefore guaranteed a trip with the dogs, except in case of extreme weather or disease (with medical certificate).
